By booking a service with Sanctuary Auto Detailing ("Client," "Customer," "you," or "your"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling any service.

1. Services Offered

Sanctuary Auto Detailing provides mobile automotive detailing at your location, including but not limited to:

  • Interior Detail

  • Exterior Detail

  • Full Detail (Interior & Exterior)

2. Payment Terms

Full payment is due on the day service is completed. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods. Non‑payment may result in late fees, service refusal, or collections.

3. Deposits & Booking

A $30 non‑refundable deposit is required to confirm all appointments and will be applied toward the final service cost. If you cancel with fewer than 48 hours' notice, the deposit will be forfeited.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the appointment will receive a full deposit credit.

  • Deposits are transferable if you reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.

  • No‑shows or same‑day cancellations may be charged up to 100 % of the scheduled service cost.

5. Client Responsibilities & Disclosure

Clients must:

  1. Remove all personal belongings (cash, electronics, child seats, etc.).

  2. Provide safe access to the vehicle and a suitable working area.

  3. Disclose excessive conditions such as pet hair, stains, mold, sand, odors, or other abnormalities.

  4. Inform us of any special vehicle conditions (e.g., polished wheels, ceramic coatings, vinyl wraps, delicate finishes).

Sanctuary Auto Detailing is not liable for damage resulting from heavily soiled, corroded, or untreated surfaces. Cleaning may remove markings or finishes on worn or aged components.

6. Pricing, Inspection & Vehicle Condition

Prices listed online or quoted via phone/text are estimates. Final pricing is confirmed after an in‑person inspection and depends on the vehicle’s:

  • Condition, age, make, and model

  • Level of contamination (pet hair, mold, staining, etc.)

We reserve the right to adjust pricing before or during service with client approval.

7. No Guarantees on Stains, Scratches, or Pet Hair

Although we use professional‑grade tools and techniques, we do not guarantee the complete removal of:

  • Deep‑set stains

  • Paint scratches

  • Embedded pet hair

  • Odors or permanent discoloration

Results vary by vehicle condition.

8. Headliner Care Disclaimer

Headliners are delicate. We perform only light‑touch cleaning with no aggressive chemicals, pressure, or scrubbing. No guarantee is offered for complete headliner cleaning.

9. Hazardous Materials & Restricted Services

We are not equipped to handle or remove:

  • Foul or persistent odors

  • Human or animal biological waste (blood, vomit, feces, urine)

  • Mold infestations beyond minor surface issues

  • Chemical spills, drug residues, or other hazardous substances

We reserve the right to refuse service upon discovery of such materials, and the deposit may be forfeited.

10. Safety During Service

For everyone’s safety:

  • Clients must maintain a safe distance from the work area.

  • Our work may involve slippery surfaces, wet tools, or chemical exposure.

  • If you need to communicate during service, get our attention from a safe distance and wait for acknowledgment.

We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from failure to follow these guidelines.

11. Photos & Documentation

We may take before‑and‑after photos for quality control, record‑keeping, and marketing. Photos may appear on our website, social media, or portfolio. License plates and other identifiable details will be obscured unless you provide written consent. You may opt‑out by notifying us in writing before your appointment.

12. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied, contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. We will offer a complimentary correction or touch‑up at our discretion. Requests made after 48 hours may not qualify for complimentary service.

13. Weather Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather. We will notify you promptly and arrange a new time.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:

  • The area is unsafe

  • The client is aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate

  • The vehicle contains hazardous or prohibited materials

Deposits may be forfeited in such cases.

15. Access to Vehicle & Property

The client agrees to provide Sanctuary Auto Detailing with:

  • Uninterrupted access to the vehicle for the duration of the service

  • Adequate space to perform detailing safely

  • Access to an electrical outlet and water source, if required

If access is delayed, restricted, or unsafe, we may cancel the appointment or charge a delay fee.

16. Privacy Policy

Sanctuary Auto Detailing values your privacy.

Information we collect may include:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Vehicle make, model, year, and license plate

  • Service location address

  • Photos of vehicle condition (optional)

How we use your information:

  • To schedule and perform detailing services

  • To contact you for updates or follow‑ups

  • For internal records and service improvement

  • To send invoices or confirmations

How we protect your information:

  • Digital records are stored securely with restricted access

  • We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties

  • Website forms and online bookings are encrypted

You may request to review, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us.

17. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, graphics, logos, images, layout) is the exclusive property of Sanctuary Auto Detailing and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell any content without prior written consent.

We may obtain and use photos/videos of vehicles we service for marketing and documentation. These materials will not include identifiable personal information without permission.

18. Class Action Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. You and Sanctuary Auto Detailing agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a class member or representative.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and any legal matter shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

20. Consumer Rights (Utah Residents)

If this agreement was made at your home or another non‑business location, Utah law may allow you to cancel within three (3) business days. To cancel, submit a written request within that period.

21. Weather & Environmental Limitations

Outdoor services may be affected by weather (rain, snow, excessive wind, heat) or surface conditions (muddy or uneven ground). If conditions are unsuitable for safe or effective service, we will reschedule. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

22. Vehicle Condition Disclaimer

We will exercise reasonable care in handling your vehicle. However:

  • Pre‑existing damage (scratches, dents, clear‑coat failure, etc.) may become more visible after cleaning.

  • We are not responsible for damage resulting from fragile, oxidized, or improperly repaired parts.

Detailing may reveal issues not previously visible due to dirt or buildup.

23. Abandoned Vehicles / Non‑Response

If the client is unresponsive 15 minutes past the scheduled start time with no prior communication, we may:

  • Cancel the appointment

  • Retain the deposit

  • Charge a missed‑appointment fee if travel has occurred

Repeated no‑shows may result in refusal of future service.

24. Third‑Party Liability

Sanctuary Auto Detailing is not liable for damage or loss caused by:

  • Tools or materials used by others on the same vehicle

  • Third‑party products applied previously

  • Environmental damage during or after service

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Sanctuary Auto Detailing’s total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost time or income.

26. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God or natural disasters

  • Illness or medical emergency

  • Internet or electrical outages

  • Government restrictions or closures

In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule at your convenience.

27. Disclaimer on Prior Repairs & Detailing

Sanctuary Auto Detailing is not responsible for issues arising from previous detailing, bodywork, or repairs, including but not limited to:

  • Poor paint correction or polishing work

  • Improperly installed wraps, PPF, or ceramic coatings

  • Weak, bubbling, or poorly bonded clear coat

  • Previous chemical burns, buffer trails, or sanding marks

  • Substandard repair work on trim, paint, or interior surfaces

We may identify or uncover such conditions during service, but we are not liable for resulting cosmetic or structural issues. Continuing to clean or treat these areas may worsen pre‑existing flaws.
